Plow truck crashes into car wash in Monument

(MONUMENT, Colo.) — A pickup truck equipped with a snow plow crashed into a car wash in Monument early Friday morning, March 6, according to the Monument Fire Protection District.

Monument Fire posted about the crash on Friday, and said the car was was on Highway 105 near Beacon Lite Road.

FOX21 News reached out to the Town of Monument to find out if the plow was employed by the Town, and a spokesperson confirmed it was not operated by the town or county, and was with a private company.

The crash occurred shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Friday, and the Town of Monument said the Monument Police Department responded. Thankfully, there were no injuries; however, the Town said a medical issue may have contributed to the crash…
