Pikes Peak Library District to open new library in east Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) announced the purchase of a future library location on the east side of Colorado Springs.

PPLD announced in a press release that it will host a ribbon-cutting Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its future library location on Pony Tracks Drive near Peterson Road and North Carefree Circle.

PPLD said the ribbon-cutting and celebration will feature its bookmobile and performances by students from Sand Creek High School, Remington Elementary School, Rocky Mountain Classical Academy and the D49 Student Services Center…
