Homeowner interrupts suspects breaking into car in northeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Suspects are on the run after being caught red-handed breaking into cars in a northeast Colorado Springs neighborhood Tuesday morning.

A homeowner told police they woke up just before 5:30 a.m. to find at least one person rummaging through a car parked in front of their house. They ran outside and confronted the suspects.

“The suspects made verbal threats toward the victim, then fled the area in a white SUV or hatchback,” a CSPD lieutenant said…
