Local moving company gathering donations for TESSA

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs moving company is teaming up with a non-profit focused on helping survivors of domestic abuse.

As part of its yearly Movers for Moms campaign, Two Men and a Truck set a goal of collecting 5,000 items for TESSA by May 4. The company is asking for laundry detergents, paper towels, kitchen trash bags, gas and grocery gift cards, self-care items, and sweatpants and sweatshirts in all sizes.

“I challenge our community to, anytime they go to their store, maybe just grabbing one extra item and stopping by one of our locations… and drop off for a great cause,” said Jackson Wipples, operator at Two Men and a Truck.
