Suspect taken into custody by police in southwest Colorado Springs after walking around with a gun and yelling

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs police took a suspect into custody Wednesday evening after reports of him yelling and walking around with a gun in southwest Colorado Springs.

Police said they took 28-year-old Kayne Johnson into custody at about 7 p.m. after he was causing multiple disturbances around the 6500 block of South Academy Boulevard, near Highway 115.

Police said at about 5 p.m., they received reports that a man pulled out a firearm after being cautioned to slow down while driving. Officers obtained video footage and were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle…
