Colorado Springs city officials to hold neighborhood meeting on proposed data center

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs city officials are planning a neighborhood meeting for the public to share their opinions on the proposed data center construction called “Project Taurus.”

City officials said the meeting is planned for Tuesday evening at the Hyatt Place Hotel along Garden of the Gods Road.

Tech and real estate company Raeden proposed building a data center near Garden of the Gods last week, causing concern from the public about whether the new center would raise utility costs from high energy usage, create noise pollution and put a strain on water resources in Colorado…
