(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is looking for a driver allegedly involved in a hit-and-run on Friday night, April 17, in which a minor was hit and seriously injured crossing I-25.
According to CSP, around 8 p.m. on Friday, troopers responded to the northbound lanes of I-25 near South Academy Boulevard on a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a minor, was reportedly crossing the interstate and was hit in the left lane of northbound I-25. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries, CSP said.
CSP said the car was described as a “white sedan with a black bumper, possibly a Ford Focus,” and it did not remain on scene. Due to the pedestrian moving out of the direct path of the car and being hit by its side as it passed, investigators believe the car may have minor-to-no damage…
