COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – With several fires starting across Colorado Springs the past week, all suspected to be caused by humans, the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is reminding people that starting these fires is dangerous.
CSFD posted on social media Monday that from last Wednesday to Sunday, firefighters responded to five wildland fires across Colorado Springs: one in Palmer Park, three in Broadmoor Bluffs in the same night and one near I-25 and Cimarron.
“In Colorado Springs, intentional fire setting is not a prank, it’s not ‘kids being kids,’ and it’s not a harmless mistake,” CSFD said. “To those responsible: This is not a joke. This is not a mistake. You are putting lives, homes, and our city at risk.”…
