Columbia sixth grader recognized as South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A Southeast Middle School student has been recognized for her entrepreneurial achievements with a statewide honor.

Sixth-grade student A’Mya Goodwin was named a 2026 Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the South Carolina Council on Economic Education. The award recognizes outstanding elementary, middle or high school students for their accomplishments in entrepreneurship.
