COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia VA Health Care System will host the 2026 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival, bringing more than 100 veterans from across the country to South Carolina for a weeklong celebration of artistic achievement and healing through creative expression.
The event, scheduled for June 9-14, 2026, will mark the first time Columbia has been selected to host the national festival. The Columbia VA Health Care System is partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of National Veterans Sports Programs and Special Events to bring the event to the city.
The National Veterans Creative Arts Festival is the culmination of year-round creative arts therapy programs offered throughout the Department of Veterans Affairs.
