A new Chapin restaurant has opened it doors. Check out what’s on the menu

A new restaurant with sandwiches, wings, burgers, wood-fired pizzas and more has debuted in the heart of Chapin.

Chapin Ale House, which is located at 912 Chapin Road, opened its doors on Monday, June 8, as noted by the business on social media. The sign in front of the restaurant on Monday noted it is “now open.”

The new restaurant is located at the site of the former J. Peters Bar & Grill in Chapin. Well-known local restaurateur Jason McDowell, who also owns the J.R. Cash’s locations in Chapin and elsewhere, as well as Cash’s Chicken in Chapin, bought the former J. Peters location and has reimagined and renovated it as Chapin Ale House, which McDowell described as a “food forward” gastropub in a previous interview with The State…
