State Museum offers free admission, exhibit debut during ‘Salute to 250 Day’

The South Carolina State Museum will offer free general admission on June 27 as part of “Salute to 250 Day,” a celebration marking the upcoming 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and the opening of a new Revolutionary War exhibition.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature the debut of American Battleground: South Carolina’s Revolution, an exhibit exploring the state’s role in the Revolutionary War.
