A 15-year-old boy who was the subject of an AMBER Alert has been found safe in South Carolina, and the suspect is in custody, according to the New Bern Police Department.
Police said Isaiah Owens was located in Marion, South Carolina, along with Kenneth Brantley Jr., who was described as the brother of Owens. The two boys were found with Kenneth Lee Brantley Sr.
South Carolina law enforcement officers took Brantley into custody. The New Bern Police Department said he will be extradited to North Carolina to face arrest and a court appearance.
