“Traverse,” a new sculpture by artist Clark Ellefson, was recently unveiled on the south side of the Lincoln Street Tunnel in Columbia.
Creating a striking gateway connecting the Vista, Finlay Park, the Main Street District, and the the surrounding downtown area, the sculpture was commissioned by the Vista Neighborhood Association, in partnership with the Congaree Vista Guild and One Columbia for Arts and Culture.
Columbia City Councilman Tyler Bailey delivered remarks during the unveiling. Also joining Councilman Bailey during the ceremony were Columbia City Councilmen Will Brennan and Sam Johnson, along with other community partners…
