COLUMBIA — It took law enforcement five days to locate the body of Elena Moore after she was first reported missing in Lexington County.
Her body was found on June 17 in woods near Lakeside Middle School in Lexington, not far from the Publix grocery store where she was last glimpsed on camera.
Few details are known about the circumstances leading to Moore’s disappearance and death. And evaluations to determine a cause of death are ongoing, including toxicology testing and a review of medical records…
