Something wonderfully unexpected is taking shape along the rivers of Cayce, South Carolina.
The city is moving forward with plans to bring a larger-than-life troll sculpture by internationally acclaimed Danish artist Thomas Dambo to the Cayce Riverwalk — a project that will become the first Thomas Dambo troll installation in South Carolina. Construction is expected to take place in 2027, with the finished sculpture becoming a permanent public attraction along the riverfront.
