Kosci Barnes made his college debut on Saturday for the University of South Carolina as a true freshman and accomplished the cornerback’s dream of getting an interception in his very first game.

Barnes got into the game in the fourth quarter as the Gamecocks held a 50-0 lead over Kent State University and made an immediate impact by coming down with a contested interception.
