What began for Audrey Therrell as a step of faith has resulted in Lexington’s newest place to get a sweet treat.
As the daughter of a Johnson & Wales University graduate chef, Therrell grew up in the kitchen and found joy in bringing delight to others’ taste buds. Not originally a fan of cheesecake, she tweaked her dad’s recipe and made it her own. She then began selling her cheesecake to friends and family members, with customers often referring to her as “my cheesecake lady.”
When Therrell’s husband, Alec, received military moving orders to relocate to South Carolina, she felt God was asking her to take a step of faith and bring her treats to the next level by opening a storefront…
