COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – South Carolina’s official state snack takes center stage in Columbia this weekend during the 19th annual Palmetto Peanut Boil.
The street festival runs Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 6 p.m. along the 2900 block of Devine Street.
Cooking teams from across the state will compete for bragging rights and the title of “Best Peanut in the State,” offering attendees the chance to sample traditional and creative boiled peanut recipes…
