“Too much work”: Changes to Boyd Plaza entry rules leave Columbia residents confused

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — It’s a decision that has left some in the City of Columbia scratching their heads. Boyd Plaza, a once public space in the heart of downtown Columbia, is now available by permit or reservation only.

“I feel like that’s too much work to just come by and eat lunch, to schedule a reservation to come in and eat lunch; that’s too much,” Christina Wise, a City of Columbia resident, said.
