Dayne Arnett was on the mind Saturday of South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks.
The fifth-year Gamecock offensive lineman missed Saturday’s game against Oklahoma with an undisclosed illness. Beamer, in an on-air interview during the game, said Arnett spent time in the hospital this week.
“Dayne Arnett, one of our offensive linemen, he’s been battling some health things this week in the hospital for a couple days. We’re thinking of you, Dayne, and we love you, man. We miss you,” Beamer said during an interview on SEC Network after the first quarter of the 42-25 win over the Sooners….
