COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nominations for the James Beard Awards were announced Wednesday, with some going to local dining staples. Tim Gardner, the owner of Lula Drake Wine Parlor, describes the moments after finding out his restaurant was a semifinalist for a 2024 James Beard Award.
