Something you don’t want to see.
According to WLTX News 19, a crash went down last Thursday during a practice round for the Bassmaster College Series tournament on Lake Murray in South Carolina.
In an update, three of four anglers were taken to the hospital after a crash between two boats, and two of the three have already been released from the hospital.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources hasn’t explained what they believe led up to the crash, but said it occurred in an area on the lake known as Little Gap near Dreher Island.
The organization said:
“B.A.S.S. continues to gather information on the incident and remains in contact with local authorities.”
244 boats were initially set to compete, and the tournament began on Friday and rounded out on Saturday.
This is just something you hate to hear about, especially when it comes to young college students getting together to compete for a dream.
Although we don’t have much details surrounding the accident, I just hope that the third individual who is still in the hospital is able to heal and make a full recovery.
