COLUMBIA, S.C. – One person is in the hospital with what police describe as life-threatening injuries following a shooting on Wednesday night. Columbia Police said the shooting happened in the 1500 block of Washington Street. Police haven’t said what led up to the shooting. The victim was described as a male, but his age wasn’t released publicly.
