Investigation Underway After Woman’s Body Found on Interstate-20:
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the discovery of a body on the side of Interstate-20.
Identified as 22-year-old Stephanie Chanel Quintana, the body was found near mile-marker 62 on the westbound side, causing substantial traffic delays. Bystanders reported the incident around 7:00 a.m. Friday, prompting a significant law enforcement presence from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, LCSD, and the Coroner’s Office.
The autopsy is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 5, at MUSC in Charleston, with the cause and manner of death still under investigation by SCHP and the Coroner’s Office.
Homicide Investigation Underway After Man’s Body Found on Porch:
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables has identified the deceased person found on a porch in Warrenville as 52-year-old Joseph Keenan, Sr. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident as a homicide.
