Yet another small earthquake shakes area near Lugoff

LUGOFF, S.C. – The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake in South Carolina early Tuesday morning. The 1.74 magnitude earthquake, which was about a mile deep, was centered about 4.0 miles south of Lugoff in Kershaw County. This is the same area that has experienced earthquake swarms over the past couple of years.
