COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Crews with Columbia-Richland Fire Department (CRFD) responded Monday morning to a fire at a vacant commercial building in Columbia. CRFD said the fire was reported shortly after 11:15 a.m. Monday morning. CRFD third-shift crews and the Irmo Fire Department (IFD) battled heavy smoke coming from a building on the 1100 block of Bush River Road and entered the structure to extinguish the flames.
