Phil Frye, Managing Director of Pee Dee Enterprises, Ltd., hosted an information session at the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce on May 1, regarding the possibility of forming a new charter school for grades 9 through 12 in the Blythewood area. Frye indicated that the school’s primary focus would be providing the type of trade skills needed by manufacturers like Scout Motors.
