RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) – On Thursday, Judge Jocelyn Newman ruled that the Richland School District One was in violation of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). A Richland One parent, Clint Wallace, filed a lawsuit on February 7 of this year claiming that the Richland One Board of Commissioners violated FOIA during a meeting on February 1.
