I-20 reopens after investigation into crash near Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. – Maps show I-20 has reopened after a lengthy investigation initially closed eastbound lanes in Richland County on Sunday morning. Master Trooper Gary Miller with the South Carolina Highway Patrol announced Sunday morning that troopers were investigating a crash in the eastbound interstate lanes near the 70-mile marker. Additional details about the crash weren’t available then, but Miller said the roadway was blocked, and a detour was in place.
