COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Columbia Mayor Daniel Rickenmann and officials from Dominion Energy are speaking Monday on the impacts of Hurricane Helene. Helene made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane Thursday night. According to Gov. Henry McMaster, Helene claimed the lives of 25 South Carolinians and caused major power outages to thousands of homes, many of whom have still not recovered it.
