COLUMBIA, S.C. ( NewsNation ) — Broadway dancer Zelig Williams , who has worked on shows such as “Hamilton” and “MJ the Musical,” was last seen Oct. 3 carrying professional headshots as he left his house in Columbia, South Carolina, according to Williams’ mom Kathy.

Kathy Williams, along with cousin Mieoki Corbett-Jacobs, joined NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield on Monday night to discuss the latest details in the mystery surrounding Zelig’s disappearance.

Kathy said she found it strange her son was awake at 2:30 a.m. the night before he went missing; he asked her if she was OK before going to bed.

“I told him, yes, I’m OK. And he went back to bed,” Williams said on “ Banfield .” “The next morning, I sat on my front porch reading my devotions, and Zelig came out. I said ‘Let me see that photo you have in your hand.’ He just looked at me and said something, but I didn’t understand what he was saying. He got in the vehicle, and he left. I didn’t see him anymore.”
