It looked like 2025 standout Peter Mershon was going to stay home and play for the home state Gamecocks of South Carolina. Things have changed. The hard-hitting Mershon has elected to cast his lot with Mississippi State. Earlier this morning, Mershon tweeted out a video announcing his commitment to join the ranks of the Diamond Dawgs.
