From 1943 to now: The evolving roles of women in the military

Steve Noonan is a curator at the U.S Army Basic Combat Training Museum in Columbia. He knows the full history of the first women to serve at U.S Army Fort Jackson. “Women first came Fort Jackson, the Women Auxiliary Army Corps came to fort Jackson in April of 1943, 133 ladies were assisted here to Fort Jackson,” said Noonan.
