RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. – Authorities say a man is receiving treatment after being shot in the back during a suspected drive-by shooting. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting happened around 6 p.m. on Sunday in the 800 block of Congaree Church Road, which maps show is near the Gadsden community. Authorities said the victim is expected to survive. However, the person didn’t see the suspect or vehicle involved in the shooting.
