Columbia’s vibrant arts scene will take center stage at the 7th Annual Cottontown Art Crawl on Saturday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the historic Cottontown neighborhood. The free, family-friendly event will showcase nearly 200 local and regional artists, offering visitors a chance to explore a diverse array of fine art, handmade crafts, pottery, photography, and more.
In addition to the art displays, the event will feature live music performances, food trucks, and interactive art experiences for all ages.
This year, the Art Crawl introduces an exciting new addition – an Interactive Community Movable Mural, created in collaboration with One Columbia. Attendees will also be invited to contribute to a collaborative art project hosted by the Columbia Museum of Art, where participants can leave their creative mark on a piece to be displayed in public spaces around the city.
“We’re thrilled to bring a new, interactive element to this year’s event,” said Beth Lawson, event coordinator. “Cottontown has always been a neighborhood that fosters creativity and togetherness. The mural project allows everyone to take part in something lasting.”…
