Former Charleston radio DJ dies from complications of pancreatic cancer

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A former Charleston-area radio DJ has passed away due to complications of pancreatic cancer.

Lori Morris, known to many throughout the 80s and 90s as Lori Niks, died Monday at her Goose Creek home, according to an online obituary.

Morris was born in Lansing, Michigan, and later moved to Moncks Corner where she went on to graduate from Berkeley High School in 1980.
