Former Lexington County Sheriff’s Department chemist charged

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — Officials say a former chemist working at the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department has been charged with obtaining goods under false pretense.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Shekinah S. Sade Brown, 24, with obtaining a signature or property under false pretense valued at $10,000 or more following an investigation requested by LCSD.
