Alabama-Issued Bases On Balls Lead To Softball Loss

An inability to get the third out in two innings, accompanied by bases on balls in those frames, led to Alabama falling in game three of the series at South Carolina Saturday. The Gamecocks took a 7-2 win in a weather-shortened game to 4 ½ innings. That gave South Carolina the series, two games to one.

Both wins came on Saturday, the first the completion of a Friday night game that had been weather delayed for almost two hours before being suspended with SC holding on for a 3-1 victory.
