WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A second man is facing charges in connection to a shooting at the end of April in the Hemingway area of Williamsburg County.
Derrick Marquise Cantey, 30, of Columbia, was charged Tuesday with voluntary manslaughter, according to the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office. 19-year-old Dontavius McCal Mills Jr., from Hemingway, was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in connection to the shooting, the sheriff’s office announced Monday.
