In Depth: Records reveal long criminal history of accused Columbia killer

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Records show the man accused of killing a North Carolina woman in Columbia over the weekend has a long criminal past.

Columbia police say 30-year-old Alexander Dickey allegedly shot and killed 22-year-old Logan Federico early Saturday on Cypress Street.

He faces murder charges in Richland County in connection with Federico’s death, as well as other charges in Lexington County after what was described as a crime spree. At the time of the murder, Dickey was wanted by Forest Park Police on drug charges.
