On Wednesday, class of 2028 quarterback Wonderful Terrific Monds IV announced that South Carolina offered him a scholarship. Monds revealed the news on social media.
Nicknamed “Champ,” Monds is an impressive freshman who already stands 6-3 and weighs over 200 pounds. He is the first quarterback from the ’28 cycle to earn a Gamecock offer. While most outlets haven’t begun rating the freshmen group, Monds has a chance of becoming the top quarterback in his class. Recently, On3’s Charles Power included him as a name to watch at the position.
South Carolina has extended several freshman class offers in recent days . Like those other talented freshmen, Monds’ offer list is becoming extensive.
