CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. — Some eastbound lanes of I-26 south of Columbia are closed due to a large sinkhole.
The Sandy Run Calhoun Volunteer Fire District shared on Facebook that the sinkhole was at mile marker 121, and traffic was down to one lane. Trooper William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that two lanes were closed due to maintenance in the area and urged drivers to find an alternate route.
