An earthquake in Tennessee could be felt in parts of Georgia. On Saturday morning, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake was reported in Tennessee and was felt in several southeastern states, including Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Earthquake scientist Dr. Zhigang Peng explained why so many Southeastern states felt the Tennessee quake.
“This earthquake was located within the Eastern Tennessee Seismic Zone, an area with known higher seismic activity.”…
