LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — Lexington County deputies have a road closed to traffic as they attempt to arrest a man wanted on a charge elsewhere in the county, officials confirmed Saturday.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said deputies are at a home in the 2600 block of Crest Drive attempting to make contact with a man wanted on charges they said are tied to a domestic violence incident that happened the previous night in Chapin.
The sheriff’s department said deputies and officers from other agencies have secured the area, and the road directly in front of the home is currently closed to traffic. The road runs between Platt Springs Road and Rainbow Drive, but officials said there has been no major impact on traffic…
