SCHP report provides new details about Midlands school board member’s DUI arrest

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – A report obtained by WIS is providing new details on what led to a Midlands school board member being arrested this month.

Records show Elizabeth Barnhardt was charged with driving under the influence on May 5 in Lexington County. Barnhardt is a member of the board at Lexington-Richland School District 5.

An incident report from the South Carolina Highway Patrol states that Lexington County deputies stopped Barnhardt in the early morning hours of May 5 on Clearview Drive.
