MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A Myrtle Beach golf cart store manager says a new state law requiring those under the age of 12 to buckle up when taking a ride this summer is a game-changer for keeping children safe locally and visiting the beach.
Last Thursday, Gov. Henry McMaster signed a bill requiring children under 12 years in South Carolina to now be required to wear a fastened safety belt when on public streets and state highways.
