Teen didn’t like it when mom was insulted, SC cops say. This is why he’s in jail

A teenager was charged with multiple crimes, including attempted murder, following a recent shooting at a South Carolina gas station, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Seventeen-year-old Timothy Harley was arrested following a May 30 shooting at the BP gas station/convenience store at 8000 Garners Ferry Road, the sheriff’s department said Monday in a news release. That’s in Columbia, near Exit 9 on Interstate 77.
