It’s another warm and slightly hazy day across the region, as high pressure holds firm over the Carolinas. While no rain is expected for now, a shift in the weather is coming soon.
Skies may appear milky once again thanks to lingering wildfire smoke in the upper atmosphere, casting a soft haze across much of the area. Sunshine will still break through, and with little cloud cover this morning, temperatures are climbing quickly. Most places will see highs in the mid to upper 80s this afternoon — just a touch warmer than yesterday — making it a good day to enjoy the outdoors before changes arrive…
