Charleston, SC – Severe thunderstorms are ripping across South Carolina and Georgia early Sunday afternoon, with warnings in effect for damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, hail, and potential power outages along key travel corridors like I-95 and I-26.
According to the National Weather Service offices in Charleston, Wilmington, and Columbia, severe thunderstorm warnings remain active through 1:15 p.m. for counties including Williamsburg, Orangeburg, Florence, Colleton, Allendale, Hampton, and Berkeley.
